Breaking news story from Snowdonia

Posted by Rob Irvine on August 14, 2006 4:45 PM |

At the time of writing (shortly before 5pm) the main news story for tomorrow is still developing. A boy of 15 is missing near Capel Curig. There is a major search and rescue operation underway around the River Llugwy.
We will have the latest information in tomorrow's paper and update what's happening on the website tomorrow.
We have a disturbing story about how 800 people in Wales are having to wait longer than those in England for orthopaedic and other kinds of surgery.
On a rather different note, more and more people are backing Blaenau's own Glyn to win Big Brother. We will give the lad a bit of a lift this week and make quite a fuss if he wins.
We've played the whole Big Brother thing quite low key, though. Millions love it but many more millions either loathe it or are totally indifferent. And in the final analysis, it's just a daft TV game, isn't it?
