According to the quizmaster at the King's Head, Llandudno last night, the world's most popular Christian name is Mohammed. We begged to differ but he was having none of it. Even so, our team ended a creditable third - earning us a £2 voucher. And it's worth going just to enjoy the pleasures of one of the best pubs in North Wales.
A few pints were well-received after a hectic couple of days The summer lull is drawing to a close and plans are being laid for lots of new content in the autumn. Plenty of developments online including a shiny new website for the Daily Post. And new content in the paper with an overhaul planned for our listings section plus an extra page on North Wales farming AND a new consumer page devoted to helping people in North Wales get the best value for their hard-earned cash. I'll let you know more in due course.
Hope you've had a chance to watch the video of our prize draw for the Ford Ka. The competition was a great success so we hope to repeat it in the future.
The sports desk are mad busy with the start of the new season. Much joy at Wrexham's flying start to the season plus Liverpool making it to the Champions League proper. Fingers crossed that the Everton roller-coaster is on an up slope this season. Plenty of coverage from all these clubs is planned plus more reports to delight the large army of Man United fans in North Wales.
Let me know what you think of our sports coverage - what would like more of or less of? Are our Man City supporting readers happy?
Drop me a line.
