Ddaru mi dechrau dysgu Cymraeg llynedd. Dw i'n meddwl mae'n amser i 'sgriffenu tipyn bach o Gymraeg yn fy blog. Mae'n diwrnod perffaith i dechrau (Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant).
Dw i ddim yn rhugl ond dw i'n dysgu mwy o Gymraeg bob dydd. Dach chi'n dysgu Cymraeg? Pob lwc, mae'n iaith farddol ond mae'n iaith galed.
And if you didn't understand that, you can't understand Welsh (or you can't understand MY Welsh). I'll keep plugging away at it.
Anyway, Happy St David's Day. Thank you to newspaper sales manager Olwen for my lovely bunch of daffodils which have opened up nicely. There are lots of events going on around North Wales - including the big parade through Colwyn Bay - which we will feature tomorrow in a two page spread. We will also have pictures from Bosnia of Welsh soldiers celebrating the day.
Tomorrow also sees the launch of our new leisure and what's on guide, Go. It features five pages about theatre, cinema, concerts and family days out. We also have an exclusive interview with Bryn Terfel and the chance to win tickets to his much awaited operatic performance at Venue Cymru next year.
We have aimed to tell you about what is happening in the coming weeks and months in North Wales and further afield, as so many people from here travel to Manchester and Liverpool for concerts and shows. Let me know what you think of Go.
We have had very positive feedback from readers about this week's North Wales from the Air photo partwork. It's been a real success and is the best proof you can have that we live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Aren't we lucky?

You can consider learning Welsh quite an achievement. To write it a bigger one still. I first left Wales (Llanfairpwll) 54 years ago and pride myself on always retaining my mother tongue. But I would struggle to write it like you do. Incidentally, in 1956 when I was married, I gave my wife a booklet, "Learn Welsh In A Week". Not a word does she speak. She is a Geordie!
